I agree not totally free, but you can easily find a free ftp host with php where you can install WordPress. You can grab all the free templates and plugins you need. The only cost in that case would be a domain name which is very important because you don’t want to have to change that information in the future. It will hurt your rankings. But you can easily carry over the database with unique article urls to a new host should you need to, if you had a domain.
